Director of Relationship Management
Connections Homes Branch Position
Connections Homes is an Atlanta-based nonprofit growing nationally which is focused on youth 18-24 who’ve aged out of foster care or are otherwise without safe, stable connected adults in their lives. Our mission is to prevent poverty and homelessness for at-risk and vulnerable youth without a family by connecting them to a Mentoring Family who commits to being a part of their life for life. Our vision is to enable youth without a family to thrive in life and impact the world from the security of a healthy connection to an adult who cares. We work toward the fulfillment of this vision through a Choice-Based Matching Model™ and our Redemptive Connection Framework.
Leadership roles at our Branch levels are critical to our success. The Director of Relationship Management reports directly to the state Executive Director and serves as the lead champion for our Choice-Based Matching Model & Redemptive Connection Support Model for Connections Homes. The Director of Relationship Management is tasked with leading a team of Relationship Managers across their Branch area to recruit, certify, train, match, and support Mentoring Family & Young Adult relationships. This role is also responsible for equipping team members across the organization to amplify the stories and voices of our work to enable continual recruitment of youth and families for services and partnership in our mission.
State Program Strategy:
• Director of Relationship Management will be responsible for assessing the needs of each region in their respective state according to child welfare system zoning.
• Responsible for assigning appropriate Relationship Manager to local and regional zones.
• Develop and maintain other programs such as Career Connections Center in partnership with external stakeholders.
• Build relationships within the communities and attend any regularly scheduled meetings
• Create and share an annual Relationship Management Strategic Plan with timelines, goals, and metrics.
Team Leadership:
• Oversight and management of RM’s Key Performance Indicators which include:
i. Mentoring Family Matches
ii. Youth Referrals
iii. Partner Visits/Key Lead Generations/Follow-ups
iv. Training and Development of teen and Mentoring Families.
• Approving Time off for Relationship Managers as deemed necessary.
• Approving expenses and receipts are recorded for events /maintenance of budget logs.
• Holding regularly scheduled meetings with Relationship Management team to ensure integrity of program delivery.
• Develop a personal development path for each Relationship Management team member.
• Update the Executive Director of weekly progress of the Relationship Managers.
• Ensure Relationship Managers enters data/engagements into CRM in a timely manner
Outreach/Development:
• Gathering Success stories from youth directly affected by CH programming.
• Attend/represent CH in community based on strategic “Events Calendar”
• Professional development training for the Relationship Management team.
• Other duties assigned by ED.
In addition to above listed responsibilities the Director Of Relationship Management will maintain a small caseload, which includes the following responsibilities:
• Identifying community organizations that would have interest in our
programs and work to raise awareness among potential partners.
• Building relationships with community partner organizations to partner
in identifying youth who have a desire for connection.
• Conducting and teaching in-person or virtual training for Mentoring Families.
• Conducting ongoing training improvements and team practice sessions to ensure that the training delivered to Mentoring Families is always top notch.
• Act on and review training feedback and address trainer improvements and/or suggest changes to the Central Support Team as necessary.
• Interviewing youth and executing the paperwork and approval process
for match to a Mentoring Family
• Conduct interviews for Relationship Manager vacant positions
• Keep Mentoring Families informed of ways to increase involvement in Connections Homes such as donations, volunteerism, and assistance with Connections Homes special projects
• Update the Executive Director of their daily, weekly and monthly progress

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000, depending on experience
